GORD Systems Solutions among the top 10 finalists in this year - “Fractals - Smart Urban Farming Challenge”.

In the scope of the ICT 2015 in Lisbon (20-22 October 2015), the largest ICT event organized by the European Commission this year was held challenge for SMEs, web-entrepreneurs and startups willing to use FIWARE technologies in order to deliver innovative solutions addressing the challenges in urban farming.
The focus of this challenge lays on smart urban farming solutions that will create sustainable urban farming.
Our eagerness to support the agricultural sector and help the urban farmers to grow natural food leads us to the final stage. Our concept was evaluated as feasible, with huge market potential and FIWARE usage.
Our concept is based on providing cloud services to the city farmers. With the help of IoT devices that measure temperature humidity and light intensity using FIWARE technologies they will manage and plan their agricultural activities.
